Lotus House Brings Alluring New Dimension of Multi-Cultural Traditions to the 2011 Decorators Showhouse & Gardens, the Annual Benefit for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

New Bill Baker-designed West Wesley Road Estate to Premiere at Opening Night Party on Friday Evening, April 15 and Remain on View through May 8

“ATLANTA/BUCKHEAD . . . . . Atop a richly wooded knoll on West Wesley Road, one of Buckhead’s most prestigious addresses, the vision of the magnificent Lotus House, the 2011 Decorators’ Showhouse & Gardens of the Atlanta Symphony Associates, appears. According to Co-Chairs Ruth and Paul Marston, who are leading the organization and implementation of this annual benefit for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, “Visitors will ascend the curving driveway and see an extraordinary new estate, designed by William T. Baker, recipient of Classical America’s Arthur Ross Award in Architecture and author of the beautifully illustrated book New Classicists. Lotus House reflects the multi-cultural traditions of its owners and of Atlanta itself as a progressive, vibrant and cosmopolitan regional capital. This estate brings an alluring new dimension to the Showhouse & Gardens, enabling participating interior designers with approximately 20,000 square feet with a unique and elegant palette on which to work.”

The owners, who chose Atlanta as their home after moving from their native India, have embraced Bill Baker’s Neoclassical expertise and together have created a home incorporating elements of their own, English and American architectural heritages. Renaissance Development Corp. and its owner Warren Sirzyk have used their more than 35 years of award-winning experience, coupled with 250 craftsmen and experts, to transform this property over a year’s period. Jackie Cottrill, a veteran of 18 years in the Buckhead luxury home market, has brought her keen insight as Project Manager for Renaissance Construction on Lotus House.”
